Application of part

Current

This part applies to an eligible worker if—

(a)

the worker leaves Australia; and

(b)

while the worker is absent from Australia, expenses are, or are likely to be, incurred by or for the worker for the worker’s treatment, care or support; and

(c)

the insurer did not, in deciding the approved services for the worker, consider the need for treatment, care or support to be provided outside Australia as a result of the worker’s absence.
