382 Relationship with State
(1)
WorkCover represents the State.
(2)
Without limiting subsection (1), every WorkCover policy or other insurance contract with WorkCover is guaranteed by the government of the State.
(3)
If WorkCover is unable to pay from a fund under its control an amount payable by WorkCover under a policy or contract guaranteed under subsection (2), the amount is to be paid out of consolidated fund to WorkCover.
(4)
The consolidated fund is appropriated for the amount.
