198 Withdrawal by chief executive—failure to comply with particular requests
The chief executive must withdraw an application if—
the chief executive gives the applicant a notice under section 190(1)(b) or 190A(2); and
the notice includes a warning that, if the applicant does not comply with the notice, the application will be withdrawn; and
the person does not comply with the notice.
The chief executive may withdraw an application if—
the chief executive gives the applicant a notice under section 330, 332 or 333 asking the applicant to give the consent, or take the other action, stated in the notice; and
the notice includes a warning that, if the applicant does not comply with the notice, the chief executive may withdraw the application; and
the person does not comply with the notice.
