303 Cancelling authority if disqualified person
(1)
This section applies—
(a)
if a person who holds a working with children authority becomes a disqualified person; and
(b)
whether or not the person’s authority is suspended under section 296.
(2)
Also, this section applies if—
(a)
the chief executive becomes aware that a person who holds a working with children authority was convicted of a disqualifying offence prior to the issue of the authority; and
(b)
the chief executive was not aware of the person’s conviction for the disqualifying offence at the time the authority was issued.
(3)
The chief executive must cancel the working with children authority.
