304I Deciding application
If the chief executive decides to cancel the person’s negative notice, the chief executive must—
cancel the negative notice; and
give the person a notice about the cancellation.
Note—See section 294 for how the chief executive is required to decide an application to cancel a person’s negative notice.
If the chief executive decides not to cancel the person’s negative notice, the chief executive must give the person a written notice that states—
the application has been refused and the person’s negative notice continues in effect subject to section 240; and
the reasons for the chief executive’s decision to refuse the application; and
the relevant review and appeal information.
