Working with Children Check Act 2000

This section applies if a person gives the chief executive consent as mentioned in section 330(1)(b) in relation to an examination of the person conducted under this division.

The chief executive may ask the registered health practitioner who conducts the examination to give a report about the person’s mental health to the chief executive, and the registered health practitioner may give the report to the chief executive.

The giving of a report under this section by a registered health practitioner is authorised despite any other Act or law, including a law imposing an obligation to maintain confidentiality about the examination.
