624 Appeals not started on commencement
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
before the commencement, the chief executive or another person had a right to an appeal, under the QCAT Act, against a decision of QCAT relating to a chapter 8 reviewable decision; and
(b)
on the commencement—
(i)
an appeal had not been commenced; and
(ii)
the time for starting the appeal had not ended.
(2)
If the chief executive or another person appeals the decision of QCAT, the entity hearing the appeal must hear and decide the appeal as if the amendment Act had not been enacted, in relation to the subject matter of the appeal.
