189 Notice of control orders generally
(1)
The
Minister must give notice of a control order by causing a copy of the order to be published—
(a)
unless paragraph (b) applies—in the Gazette; or
(b)
in the case of an emergency—on the Department website and then in the
Gazette within 7 days after its publication on the website.
(2)
The
Minister must take reasonable steps to ensure that all persons who are likely to be directly affected by a control order are made aware of the order.
(3)
This section does not apply if notice is given under section 190.
