37 Quarantine stations
(1)
In this section—
designated authority means—
(a)
the
Chief Executive; or
(b)
a
Chief Officer.
(2)
A designated authority may, by notice published on the Department website, declare a place to be a quarantine station at which biosecurity matter may, subject to this Act, be held, examined, disinfected, treated, destroyed or otherwise disposed of.
(3)
A designated authority may, by further notice published on the
Department website, vary or revoke a notice under this section.
