98 Effect of suspension, cancellation or surrender
A relevant authorisation may be suspended, cancelled or surrendered under this Division unconditionally or subject to such conditions as the relevant decision-maker may impose.
A condition under this section—
may be imposed for the purpose of ensuring—
that all relevant biosecurity matter and carriers are to be dealt with appropriately on the suspension, cancellation or surrender of the relevant authority; and
compliance with this Act and any other relevant Act; and
may include, but is not limited to, any conditions to which the relevant authorisation was subject immediately before it was suspended, cancelled or surrendered.
The relevant decision-maker may, by written notice given to the holder or former holder of the relevant authorisation, vary a condition imposed under this section.
A holder or former holder of the relevant authority must comply with a condition attached to the suspension, cancellation or surrender of the relevant authorisation.
Maximum penalty:
for a body corporate—$125 000;
for a natural person—$25 000.
