10 Review of Act
The Minister must, within 5 years after the commencement of this Act, undertake a review of this Act.
In conducting the review, the Minister must (in such manner as the
Minister thinks fit) consult with, and consider any submissions of, relevant councils.
The review must include an assessment of—
the state of the district, especially taking into account the objects of this Act; and
the family, social, economic and environmental impacts of this Act;
and
the impact of this Act on local government in the district;
and
any steps that have been taken or strategies that have been implemented to address any negative impacts of this Act, and may include such other matters as the Minister thinks fit.
The Minister must cause a report on the outcome of the review to be tabled in both Houses of Parliament within 12 sitting days after its completion.
