Controlled Substances Act 1984

The Chief Executive must issue an identification certificate to each inspector (other than an inspector who is a police officer) which sets out the provisions of this Part for which the inspector is authorised to be an inspector.

In the course of performing his or her functions under this Part, an inspector must produce his or her identification certificate to any person who requests its production.

In this Part, a reference to an identification certificate in relation to an inspector who is a police officer is a reference to written evidence of the fact that he or she is a police officer.
