142 Protection of DPP etc
(1)
The DPP has, in the performance of his or her duties under this
Division, the same protection and immunity as a Judge of the Supreme
Court.
(2)
A legal practitioner appearing at an examination on behalf of the person being examined has the same protection and immunity as a legal practitioner appearing for a party in proceedings in the Supreme Court.
(3)
Subject to this Act, the person being examined has the same protection and, in addition to the penalties provided by this Act, is subject to the same liabilities as a witness in proceedings in the Supreme Court.
