24 Transfer of proceedings between courts
The Supreme Court or a Judge or Associate Justice of the Supreme
Court may order—
that civil or criminal proceedings in the District Court be transferred to the Supreme Court; or
that civil or criminal proceedings in the Supreme Court that lie within the jurisdiction of the District Court be transferred to the District
Court.
The District Court or a Judge or Associate Judge of the District
Court may order that civil or criminal proceedings in the District Court be transferred to the Supreme Court.
Where proceedings have been transferred under this section, they may be continued and completed as if steps taken in the proceedings prior to the transfer had been taken in the court to which they are transferred.
