130ZCJ Individual cap on electoral loans
(1)
The
individual cap on an electoral loan for a regulated designated participant is
$5 000 (2026 indexed).
(2)
For the purposes of this section, an electoral loan of or less than the amount specified in subsection (1) made by a person or body is to be treated as a loan that exceeds the individual cap on electoral loans if that and other separate electoral loans made by that person or body to the same regulated designated participant within the same financial year would, if aggregated, exceed the regulated designated participant's individual cap on electoral loans.
