First Home and Housing Construction Grants Act 2000

If, by virtue of an additional payment under section 18(2), a first home bonus grant, a housing construction grant or a seniors housing grant, the total amount payable in relation to a home would (but for this section) exceed the consideration for the eligible transaction, the additional payment, first home bonus grant, housing construction grant or seniors housing grant will, as determined by the Commissioner, be adjusted so that the total amount payable under this Act is equal to the amount of the consideration.
