60 Certificate of analysis
This section applies to an analysis that is carried out for the purposes of this Act by an approved laboratory.
On completion of an analysis to which this section applies, the person for the time being in charge of the laboratory at which the analysis was carried out is to give the person who requested the analysis, or an agent of the person, a certificate of analysis, in the approved form, that complies with the requirements of subsection (3).
The certificate of analysis must—
be dated and signed by the person for the time being in charge of the laboratory at which the analysis was carried out; and
contain a written report of the analysis that sets out the findings; and
specify the requirements, if any, of the Food Standards Code relating to the carrying out of the analysis and certify that the analysis was carried out in accordance with those requirements.
