Unauthorised totalisator betting prohibited

In force

(1)

A person must not conduct totalisator betting. Maximum penalty: Maximum penalty: $20 000 or imprisonment for 1 year.

(2)

A person must not make a bet with a person, if the acceptance of the bet by that person constitutes an offence against subsection (1). Maximum penalty: Maximum penalty: $5 000 or imprisonment for 6 months.
