Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (South Australia) Act 2010

In this Part—

commencement day means 1 July 2010.

local registration authority means an entity that had functions under a law of a participating jurisdiction that included the registration of persons as health practitioners.

participation day, for a participating jurisdiction, means—

for a health profession other than a relevant health profession—

July 2010; or

the later day on which the jurisdiction became a participating jurisdiction; or

for a relevant health profession, 1 July 2012.

relevant health profession means—

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health practice; or

Chinese medicine; or

medical radiation practice; or

occupational therapy.

repealed

Law means the Health

Practitioner Regulation (Administrative Arrangements) National Law set out in the Schedule to the Health

Act 2008 of Queensland.
