272 Limited registration
(1)
This section applies to a person who, immediately before the participation day for a participating jurisdiction, held a type of registration (however described) in a health profession under the law of that jurisdiction that was granted for the practice of the health profession only for a corresponding purpose.
(2)
From the participation day, the person is taken to hold limited registration in the health profession for that purpose under this
Law.
(3)
In this section—
corresponding purpose means a purpose that is equivalent to, or substantially equivalent to, a purpose for which limited registration may be granted under this Law.
