10 South Australian Heritage Fund
The
State Heritage Fund continues in existence as the South
Australian Heritage Fund.
The
Fund consists of—
any money appropriated by Parliament for the purposes of the Fund; and
any money provided by the Government of the Commonwealth for the purposes of this Act; and
any money received by the Council for the purposes of this Act by way of fees, gift, bequest or in any other way; and
any money received by the Minister for the purposes of this Act by way of gift, bequest or in any other way; and
any income derived from investment of the Fund; and
any other money that is required or authorised by or under this Act to be paid into the Fund.
The
Minister may invest money standing to the credit of the Fund that is not immediately required for the purposes of this Act in such manner as may be approved by the Treasurer.
The
Minister may, with the consent of the Treasurer, borrow money for the purposes of the Fund.
A liability incurred with the consent of the Treasurer under subsection (4) is guaranteed by the Treasurer.
