14 Postponement of consideration of complaint
If a complaint under section 12(1) relating to a judicial officer is made during the course of a hearing conducted by the judicial officer (whether alone or with others)—
the judicial officer may, by notice in writing to the Commissioner, request that consideration of the complaint under this Act be postponed until the hearing has been completed; and
the Commissioner must, if satisfied that consideration of the complaint could in any way disrupt or influence the conduct of the hearing, postpone consideration of the complaint in accordance with the request.
If a complaint under section 12(1) relating to a judicial officer is made during the course of a hearing conducted by the judicial officer (whether alone or with others), the Commissioner may, if the
Commissioner considers it appropriate to do so, postpone consideration of the complaint—
for a specified period; or
until the hearing has been completed.
