37 Performance of functions
(1)
If an Act or a legislative instrument confers a function on a person or body, the function may be performed from time to time as occasion requires.
(2)
If an Act or a legislative instrument confers a function on the holder of a particular office, the function may be performed by the person for the time being holding or performing the duties of the office.
(3)
If an Act or a legislative instrument confers a function on a body, the performance of the function is not affected merely because of a vacancy in the membership of the body or a defect in the appointment of a member.
