32 Appointment of authorised officers
The following persons are authorised officers under this Act:
fisheries officers under the Fisheries Management
Act 2007;
wardens under the National
Parks and Wildlife Act 1972;
police officers;
persons of a class prescribed by regulation or persons appointed by the Minister, being persons who must, in either case, be employed in the public service of the State.
If the area of a marine park includes land within the area of a council, the Minister may appoint persons, nominated by the council, to be authorised officers under this Act.
The Minister may, at any time—
revoke the appointment of an authorised officer appointed by the
Minister; or
limit the powers of an authorised officer appointed by the
Minister.
The Minister may, by notice in the Gazette, limit the powers of a class of persons constituted as authorised officers.
