43 Related matters
The Minister should, so far as is reasonably practicable, consult with any public authority that may also have power to act with respect to the particular matter before the Minister issues an order or authorisation under this Division.
Subsection (1) does not apply—
where action is being taken under this Act as a matter of urgency;
or
in any other circumstance of a prescribed kind.
A person cannot claim compensation from—
the Minister or the Crown; or
an authorised officer; or
a person acting under the authority of the Minister or an authorised officer, in respect of a requirement imposed under this Division, or on account of an act or omission done or made in the exercise (or purported exercise) of a power under this Division.
