17 Rehabilitation
The owner of a mine (or, as the case requires, the former owner of a mine) must, within 2 years after the cessation of work at the mine, carry out or ensure the proper rehabilitation of the site of the mine, and any other affected area, in accordance with any directions of the Chief
Inspector.
