Application of Act

In force

(1)

Subject to this Part, and any other provisions of this Act that explicitly apply to a private mine or a person carrying out operations in relation to a private mine, a private mine is exempt from the other Parts of this Act.

(2)

Land comprised within a private mine cannot be subject to a mineral tenement under this Act.

(3)

Without limiting any other provision that makes explicit application as envisaged by subsection (1), the following provisions apply to or in relation to a private mine or a person carrying out operations in relation to a private mine:
