Annual business plan
32 Annual business plan
A statutory trust must prepare a business plan for each financial year (an annual business plan) in accordance with the regulations.
Without limiting subsection (1), regulations providing for an annual business plan may provide for—
the specification for the purposes of this Act of a region in relation to trust parklands for which the statutory trust is the responsible statutory trust and the constituent councils for the region; and
the inclusion of information relating to amounts proposed to be recovered by the trust under Part 4 for a region referred to in paragraph (a) in relation to a financial year; and
processes for consulting on the annual business plan in circumstances prescribed by the regulations.
An annual business plan must be approved by the Minister.
A statutory trust may vary its annual business plan from time to time as circumstances require.
If a statutory trust makes a material variation to its annual business plan, the trust must provide a copy of the business plan (as varied) to the Minister (and such a variation will require the approval of the Minister in any circumstances as may be prescribed by the regulations).
A statutory trust must ensure that up‑to‑date copies of its annual business plan are made reasonably available to the public.
