Long‑term strategic plan
42 Long‑term strategic plan
A statutory trust must prepare a long‑term strategic plan.
A statutory trust's long‑term strategic plan must—
address long‑term strategic planning issues (over a 15 to 30 year period) relating to the statutory trust's functions, with particular reference to the extent to which any infrastructure will need to be maintained, replaced or developed for the purposes of trust parklands; and
relate to any other matter determined by the statutory trust.
A statutory trust's long‑term strategic plan must be submitted to the Minister for approval and, when approved, adopted by the statutory trust.
The
Minister may, after consultation with a statutory trust, require that the statutory trust's long‑term strategic plan be varied.
The
Trust may review a statutory trust's long‑term strategic plan from time to time and must review it at least once every 5 years.
A variation to a plan does not have effect unless or until approved by the Minister.
