Notaries Public Regulations 2017

These regulations may be cited as the

Notaries Public

Regulations 2017.

These regulations will come into operation on the day on which the

Notaries Public Act 2016 comes into operation.

In these regulations, unless the contrary intention appears—

Act means the Notaries Public Act

2016.

For the purposes of section 4(3) of the Act, the Notaries'

Society of South Australia Incorporated is prescribed.

For the purposes of section 5(3) of the Act, the oath to be taken by a person admitted as a notary public under the Act must be in the following form:

For the purposes of section 7(2) of the Act, the prescribed form for a certificate granted by the Registrar is as follows:
