126 Determination of application
A relevant authority must, on making a decision on an application under this Part, give notice of the decision in accordance with the regulations (and, in the case of a refusal, the notice must include the reasons for the refusal and any appeal rights that exist under this Act).
A development authorisation under this Part remains operative for a period prescribed by the regulations.
A relevant authority may, on its own initiative or on the application of a person who has the benefit of any relevant development authorisation, extend a period prescribed under subsection (2).
A court may, on the application of a person who is a party to proceedings before the court which relate to any matter arising under this Act, extend a period prescribed under subsection (2).
