6 Ministerial control
(1)
The Public Trustee is subject to control and direction by the
Minister on matters of policy.
(2)
A direction may not be given so as to affect the efficient discharge of the Public Trustee's duties at law or in equity.
(3)
The Public Trustee must, at the request of the Minister, report to the Minister on a specified matter.
(4)
The Public Trustee must not, in a report to the Minister, divulge information in breach of a confidence placed in the Public Trustee by a client.
