77 Register of accreditations, authorisations, exemptions and permits
The Minister must keep a register of accreditations, authorisations, exemptions and permits.
The Minister must ensure that information relating to the grant, renewal, variation, suspension, cancellation or revocation of any accreditation, authorisation, exemption or permit is entered on the register within 30 days after the grant, renewal, variation, suspension, cancellation or revocation takes effect.
The register—
will be kept in a manner and form determined by the Minister; and
include such information as is required by the regulations.
Subject to subsection (6), the Minister must ensure that the register is kept publicly available for inspection without fee—
on a website determined by the Minister; and
during ordinary office hours at a public office, or public offices, determined by the Minister.
Subject to subsection (6), a member of the public may, on payment of the prescribed fee, obtain a copy of any part of the register.
The Minister may restrict access to information included in the register if the Minister considers that it is necessary to do so—
to prevent a threat to the security of radioactive material; or
to protect the health or safety of the public; or
for any prescribed reason.
