73 Service etc of notices
Subject to this Act, a notice may be served on, or given to, a person in pursuance of this Act as follows:
by giving it to the person or an agent of the person;
by leaving it for the person with someone apparently over the age of 16 years at his or her place of residence or at any place at which he or she carries on business;
by posting it to the person at his or her last known address;
by fixing the notice in the prescribed manner in a prominent position on the land to which the notice relates;
where the notice is to be served on, or given to, the occupier of land—by posting it addressed to "The Occupier" at the address for the land.
If a notice is to be served on, or given to, the owner of land and the owner has died, the notice may be served on, or given to, the executor or administrator of the owner's estate or, where an executor or administrator has not been appointed, by fixing the notice in the prescribed manner in a prominent position on the land to which the notice relates.
A notice will be taken to have been served on, or given to, all of the owners or occupiers of land if it is served on, or given to, 1 of the owners or occupiers of the land.
