Court to be notified if suitable community service placement not available
87 Court to be notified if suitable community service placement not available
If the CE, on being notified that a court has included in an intensive correction order a condition requiring the performance of community service, is of the opinion that suitable community service work cannot be found for the defendant, whether because of the defendant's physical or mental disability, the location of the defendant, or for some other reason, the CE must notify the court in writing of that fact.
On receiving a notification under subsection (1), the court may revoke the condition or discharge the intensive correction order (as the case may be) and may require the defendant to appear before the court for further order.
