Consumer advisory committee
14 Consumer advisory committee
The Commission must establish an advisory committee comprising representatives of consumers (the consumer advisory committee)—
to provide advice to the Commission in relation to the performance of its licensing functions under
Part 4; and
to provide advice to the Commission, either on its own initiative or at the request of the Commission, on any other matter relating to the water industry.
Despite subsection (1), the consumer advisory committee will, if the Commission so determines, be the same committee as the committee of that name established under Division 4 of Part 2 of the
Electricity
Act 1996 and have the functions referred to in subsection (1) in addition to its functions under that Division.
