31 Local management of certain areas
The Council, after considering the factors specified in subsection (2), must involve a local Aboriginal group or a local Aboriginal person in the management of Aboriginal land.
The factors which the Council is to consider in deciding which local Aboriginal group or person is to be involved in the management of Aboriginal land are as follows:the extent to which a local Aboriginal group or person has an association or connection with the land; the extent to which a local Aboriginal group or person has the desire and capacity to manage the land; the importance of the land to all Aboriginal persons.
