81 Adopted person's right to information under age 18

An adopted person who has not attained the age of 18 years may, subject to this section, apply to a relevant authority for information about himself.

An application for information referred to in subsection (1) shall be accompanied by the agreement in writing, or evidence of the death, of each adoptive parent of the adopted person.

There shall not be given to an applicant under this section any information from which the identity of a natural parent of the applicant may be ascertained unless the relevant authority has obtained the agreement in writing, or evidence of the death, of that natural parent.
