Ambulance Service Act 1982

Subject to and in accordance with the State Service Act 2000, persons may be appointed or employed for the purpose of providing administrative and clerical assistance to the Commissioner or for carrying out duties other than those performed by persons appointed under section 14.

The Secretary of the Department may make arrangements with another Head of a State Service Agency for State Service officers and State Service employees employed in that Agency to be made available to enable the Commissioner to perform the functions of office under this Act, and those officers and employees are to, in conjunction with State Service employment, serve the Commissioner in any capacity.
