I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 17(2) of the Annulled Convictions Act 2003.

reg 1Short title

This order may be cited as the Annulled Convictions Order 2004.

reg 2Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

reg 3Principal Act

In this order, the Annulled Convictions Act 2003 is referred to as the Principal Act.

reg 4Schedule 1 amended (Non-exempt applications)

Schedule 1 to the Principal Act is amended by inserting after item 9 in Part 6 the following item:

Volunteer positions with Scouts Australia which have direct contact with youth members.

The amendment effected by this clause has been incorporated into the authorised version of the Annulled Convictions Act 2003.
