Bail Act 1994

In any proceedings –

a document purporting to be a copy of a notice handed to a person on admission to bail as mentioned in subsection (1) of section 5 and to be endorsed and signed as mentioned in that subsection is evidence – that the endorsement was signed by the person whose signature it purports to be; and that the notice was handed to the person specified in the notice on his or her release from custody; and a document purporting to specify the terms of an order for bail as mentioned in section 7(2)(a) and to be signed by the person admitted to bail is evidence of the fact that the person specified in the document was admitted to bail on those terms.
