192 How general biosecurity direction is given
A general biosecurity direction may be given by causing a notice of the direction to be published on, or in, either or both of the following:the Department website; the Gazette.
In an emergency, a general biosecurity direction may be given by displaying a copy of the direction in a prominent place on or adjacent to any premises or place to which, or in the vicinity of which, the direction applies.
If a general biosecurity direction is given in the manner referred to in subsection (2), notice of the direction is to be published on the Department website or in the Gazette (or both) as soon as practicable after the decision is made.
If a general biosecurity direction is given in an emergency, the direction is to include a warning that the direction is being given in an emergency.
A failure to comply with this section does not affect the validity of a general biosecurity direction.
