27 Powers of manager
A manager appointed to manage a conveyancer’s business may do all acts and things in respect of that business that the conveyancer might lawfully have done.
Without limiting the generality of subsection (1), a manager may, in his or her own name or in the name of the conveyancer – charge fees and recover disbursements for work undertaken for clients of the conveyancer in the course of the conveyancer’s business; and pay from the assets of the business any outgoings payable in connection with the business; and administer the trust account of the conveyancer and pay money from that account as and when a person becomes entitled to it.
