Conveyancing Act 2004

A receiver, manager or auditor appointed in respect of a conveyancer's business must not divulge information that has come to his or her knowledge in the course of performing functions under this Act except – to the conveyancer; or to the Director; or as otherwise required by law. Fine not exceeding 20 penalty units.

A person engaged in the administration of this Act must not divulge information disclosed in a report provided under this Part except – for the purpose of consideration of the report by the Director; or as is otherwise necessary for the proper administration of this Act; or as is otherwise permitted or required by law. Fine not exceeding 20 penalty units.
