40 Jurisdiction of coroner to investigate a fire or an explosion
A coroner has jurisdiction to investigate a fire or an explosion if the fire or explosion occurs in the State and the coroner believes it is desirable to conduct an investigation.
A coroner must investigate a fire or an explosion if the Attorney-General or the Chief Magistrate directs that an investigation be held.
