69 Annual report
The Chief Magistrate must, on or before 30 November in each year, prepare and submit to the Minister a report in relation to the operation of this Act during the financial year ending on the preceding 30 June.
The report – must include details of deaths of persons held in custody and findings and recommendations made by coroners; and may include any other matter that the Chief Magistrate considers appropriate.
The Minister must cause a copy of the report to be laid on the table of each House of Parliament within 10 sitting days after receiving the report.
