32 Re-assessment of rent in respect of land leased for rural purposes
Every lease of Crown land for rural purposes shall contain a provision for the re-assessment by the Minister of rent at the end of the 5th, 10th, and 15th years of the lease.
If the Minister re-assesses the rent, the Minister is to cause notice of his or her decision to be served on the lessee or forwarded by certified mail to the lessee.
A lessee of land the rent of which has been re-assessed in accordance with subsection (1) may apply to the Tasmanian Civil and Administrative Tribunal for a review of the re-assessment.
