Crown Lands Act 1976

The Minister may purchase, acquire and take, under the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act 1993 or any other Act providing generally for the acquisition of land for public purposes, land – that possesses any of the values specified in Column 2 of Schedule 5 for any of the purposes specified in Column 3 of Schedule 5; or for any other purpose that the Minister considers necessary.

Any land purchased, acquired or taken under subsection (1)(a) is taken to have been reserved to the Crown as a public reserve under section 8.
