Crown Proceedings Act 1993

This Act does not affect –

proceedings for the recovery or enforcement of a fine, penalty or forfeiture, including the estreatment of a recognizance, imposed in criminal proceedings; or a law, custom or procedure under which the Attorney-General is – entitled to sue; or liable to be sued; or entitled to intervene in proceedings – on behalf of the Crown on the relation, or on behalf, of any other person or persons or in any other capacity or for any other purposes.
