Defamation Order 2020

I make the following order under section 35(3) of the Defamation Act 2005.

This order may be cited as the Defamation Order 2020.

This order takes effect on 1 July 2020.

For the purposes of section 35(1) of the Defamation Act 2005, the maximum damages amount that is to apply from 1 July 2020 is declared to be $421 000.
